To whom it may concern, I have been an eHarmony customer for approximately 10 years. Last year, I made the decision to cancel my account due to the demands of my career. On September 21, [redacted], I sent an email requesting a refund for a $[redacted].30 CAD automatic charge and the cancellation of my account. Despite this, I am still receiving frequent "come back" messages from eHarmony, which I would like to cease. I am also inquiring about the reimbursement for the aforementioned automatic payment. I believe this may have already been processed, but I kindly request verification of this matter. Please reach out to me at [redacted] to provide an update on the refund status. Given my longtime subscription with eHarmony and minimal usage of its services, I hope for a resolution regarding the refund. Thank you for addressing these concerns promptly. Sincerely, Dr. P. MacLean

I signed up for eHarmony last night to message a man who had messaged me on April 3. When I try to message him, it says I have to wait for him to reply first. All I could do then was send emojis, so he hasn't replied. I am supposed to be able to send unlimited messages now, but I can't get past this issue. I emailed support last night but haven't received a response yet. I would like to chat with him soon because I have to bury my mother's ashes at Arlington Cemetery. Thank you, Cathy.

I signed up and paid for my eharmony membership. Later, I attempted to update my email address in my profile but made a mistake. Now, I can't access my account because of the incorrect email. Despite reaching out to customer service multiple times, I only received auto-generated responses requesting me to contact them from the email linked to my account. I even tried their live chat feature, which didn't work, and various phone numbers without success. I'm concerned about being billed for a subscription I can't use.

I encountered an issue with my login and pictures. After your response, my membership was abruptly revoked, prompting me to renew at a higher cost. Despite receiving an email confirming my premium subscription payment, the service has been withdrawn. I'm frustrated by the lack of support available as I am unable to reach anyone for assistance promptly. The wait time of 28 to 48 hours for resolution is unacceptable. I have decided to dispute the charges on my card and opt for cancellation. The exorbitant fees coupled with these recurring issues make this platform unappealing, especially with the lack of accessible customer service.

I recently noticed a charge of $[redacted].24 on my Bank of America credit card statement from eharmony dated 04/18/[redacted]. The card ends in xxx [redacted]. I recall being presented with a promotion recently but did not authorize this payment. Given that I am 80 years old, I do not believe eharmony has a suitable membership base for my age group in my area. I kindly request the cancellation of my account linked to [redacted] and a refund of $[redacted].24 to my credit card. Thank you, William Y.

Dear EHarmony, I would like to express my gratitude for the years of service you have provided during my subscription. I have recently entered into a committed relationship and no longer require your dating services. I find the process to cancel my subscription and any other associated features to be quite challenging. Being born in [redacted], navigating such technological processes is not as intuitive for me as it is for younger users. I kindly request to be removed from your subscriber list as I am unable to manage the cancellation procedure and justify further payments. Please cancel my subscription and cease any autopayments. Thank you, Justin S.

I did not intend to commit to a 24-month membership contract, as I believed I was signing up for a 6-month membership based on the information provided on the website stating it was free. I am new to this and request that this issue be addressed by the management promptly to resolve this matter and avoid what seems like deceptive practices.

Dear EHarmony, I appreciate the services you've provided during my subscription period. However, I've recently entered a committed relationship and no longer have the need to continue searching for a partner. I kindly request to cancel my subscription and any additional features I may be paying for. The cancellation process seems a bit complex for me, and as I was born in [redacted], certain computer tasks are challenging. I would appreciate it if you could assist in removing me from your subscriber list and discontinuing autopayments. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, J. Starkweather.

I joined eharmony in August [redacted] and paid for four installments of $40.39. I used the service briefly and then paused my account. When I tried to log in recently, I couldn't access my account. I need assistance in activating the remaining six months I've paid for.

I noticed an unauthorized charge on my bank account from your company for $21.08 in April and another one for the same amount recently, totaling $42.16. My husband, who has been happily married to me for 38 years, is also upset by this discovery. It appears that someone has fraudulently created an account in my name and is misusing my identity. Please, cancel this account immediately, refund the stolen money back to my bank account, and I will be obtaining a new card after the reimbursement. This situation is causing tension in my marriage. Thank you.

Subject: Subscription Cancellation Request I am reaching out to request the cancellation of my subscription to the eharmony app. Due to my mother falling ill, I need to prioritize my family at this time and will no longer be using the service. I have been billed $[redacted].60, and I am unsure why these charges have been applied. I have tried contacting customer service without success. Please ensure that my subscription is canceled, and any active profiles are removed. Thank you, Peg McHugh Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted] Location: Rock Hall, MD [redacted]

I tried the service but was dissatisfied after the first month. The site's filtering system is ineffective for finding specific people. I've attempted to cancel for two months as I do not use the service and have already connected with someone on another platform. When trying to cancel, the site showed a "site under maintenance" screen twice, and even after removing most profile information, I am still being charged. Customer support insists on it being a 1-year plan billed in 4 installments of $[redacted] per month, which is not what I signed up for and feels misleading.

I signed up for EHarmony, but when I tried to pay with my Mastercard, it wouldn't go through. The website asked me to use a different payment method, but my Mastercard is the only one I have. I contacted BMO Mastercard, and they confirmed there are no issues with my card. How can I subscribe using my Mastercard? If this is not resolved, I might have to cancel EHarmony and look for an alternative service.

I recently signed up for a six-month subscription with eHarmony and made the payment through PayPal. However, there seems to have been an issue during the transaction process where I was charged for a full year subscription instead. I have attempted to dispute this both on the PayPal and eHarmony websites, but it was mentioned that the cancellation period had passed. I am not looking to cancel, but rather to have the subscription adjusted to the originally agreed upon 40% off rate for six months. There appears to be a glitch as the subscription automatically shifted to a one-year plan while on the PayPal site. I kindly request a review of this situation and a refund of the excess amount charged. Thank you for your assistance. - L. B.

I am a 76-year-old widower, and a friend suggested I try eHarmony for dating. However, I am not very computer-savvy and find it hard to navigate your platform. I lost my spouse 15 months ago, and I thought I was ready to socialize, but it turns out I wasn't prepared to start dating. I kindly request a refund for the charges from eHarmony, and I would like to cancel my subscription. I apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Please confirm that the charges will be refunded to my credit card. Thank you for your assistance. S.H. Email: [redacted]

Hello eHarmony Support team, I recently cancelled my subscription and closed my account last month. However, I noticed a new pending charge from eHarmony on my account. I am reaching out to request a refund and to have all accounts linked to my name and email permanently deleted from your site immediately. The service provided and the match I was paired with have left me dissatisfied. The individual was not interested in a meaningful relationship but rather was seeking a casual arrangement. This type of connection does not align with my values as I am looking for a committed relationship. Thank you, E.H.

Hello, I recently tried e-harmony for 3 days and decided to cancel my subscription. I was surprised to be asked to pay over $[redacted] to try it out. I am only seeking a refund since I used the service briefly and have no intention of using it further. My subscription is ongoing until November, but I would like to cancel it and receive a refund for the unused time. Thank you for your assistance, I appreciate your prompt response. Regards, I.Y.

I am having trouble accessing my email account [redacted], which is linked to my eharmony account. Additionally, I need to update my payment information for eharmony because my debit card associated with the account was compromised and had to be closed. I plan on reaching out to you directly to resolve these matters regarding my eharmony account. If necessary, you can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, R.M.

I am unhappy that I need to upgrade to a Premium service to view my past matches. This is frustrating and doesn't seem fair. Other dating services don't require this. I request a refund for the remaining time on my eHarmony subscription. If this is not resolved, I will dispute the charge. My screen name is bayside243 and I am James N. I am very displeased with eHarmony's policies and would not suggest it to anyone.

I am living with a disability and have a fixed income. I was surprised by the high fees associated with your service. I believed there was a 7-day trial available. Unfortunately, I found that a majority of the men on the site do not meet my preferences. As a result, I attempted to cancel on the fourth day. I find it unreasonable to be charged over $[redacted] for less than four days of service. I have taken steps to contact the Better Business Bureau, my bank, credit card company, and I have disabled my PayPal account due to the lack of a refund for the charge.
