I recently started trading and unintentionally became classified as a pattern day trader. It's my first time violating the rule. I would like to request the removal of this restriction. I am aware of the regulation about making four trades within five days now after reading up on it. Initially, I wasn't fully aware of what I was doing. I plan to invest more and grow my interests. I'm hoping to continue using this app as it's the one I prefer. Your help in lifting this restriction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been experiencing issues with Robinhood. They have failed to send me four different cards over the past five months. My account has been restricted for the last three months, making it impossible for me to verify any of the previously active banks on file. Unfortunately, Robinhood has not been responsive to my emails, only sending automated responses every 3 or 4 days with the same message. This situation has prevented me from withdrawing my money, as they have neglected to verify my banks, causing frustration and concern about the safety of my funds.

I recently changed phones and forgot my account password. I managed to reset it and logged in with a verification code. However, upon logging in with my new password, I received a message saying my application could not be approved. I have been trying to contact support for two weeks but keep running into dead ends. It seems my account is under review, which I understand, but I would appreciate clearer communication. My main goal is to understand the status of my application and regain access to my account. Thank you for your assistance.

I placed an order for [redacted] shares of Dogecoin on March 20 and received an email confirmation. However, my account does not reflect the purchase. I am seeking assistance on how to properly credit my order at the correct lower price I purchased it for. I have also reached out to customer support via email and forwarded the confirmation from Robinhood on March 20, but the purchase is still pending over a month later. The response received was unhelpful, asking me to resolve the issue myself. I expect Robinhood to resolve this by granting me the [redacted] shares of Dogecoin I bought at the original price. I am unable to take any action as the crypto does not show in my account, and the $50 remains unavailable, indicating 0.00 buying power. Upon contacting customer support, I received an automated response that did not address the issue and inconvenienced me by requesting a performance rating. I feel helpless and seek to speak with a live agent to rectify this situation, as my funds seem inaccessible.

I made an error when creating my account, using "ail.com" which doesn't exist instead of my correct email. Since December, I've been trying to resolve this issue, sending my information and driver's license multiple times. Each time I contact customer service, I have to repeat the same information. I want my account unlocked and my funds returned. Despite trying to use my correct email, I inadvertently created a new account. Please close the incorrect account under [redacted] and release the one under [redacted] that you allowed to open. I am frustrated with the lack of resolution and repeated requests for the same information. I simply want to regain access to my account.

Dear Robinhood Support, I'm reaching out regarding an urgent matter that hasn't been resolved despite my repeated attempts to seek assistance. As I use my account for trading, delays are affecting my financial decisions. I've encountered a similar issue with another platform, Coinbase, and they swiftly addressed my concerns within a reasonable time frame. It is distressing to face a lack of responsiveness from a company as reputable as Robinhood. Please prioritize resolving this issue promptly. I urge you to investigate any unauthorized access and address this matter with urgency. I have financial transactions pending, and time is of the essence. Kindly provide the necessary steps to verify my identity or contact me directly for a prompt resolution. Your swift attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Best regards, A. Choi

Hello, my name is Jessica S. I have been using Robinhood since [redacted], primarily enjoying the free Sirius XM. However, on 4/18/21, I made a $[redacted] deposit and chose to invest in Dogecoin when it was priced at around 26-27 cents. I believed I purchased the stock that night, but my account now shows that I have invested $[redacted] without clear confirmation of the Dogecoin purchase. I reached out to my mom for advice, and she suggested waiting a few days for it to reflect, but nothing has changed. I am unsure about the concept of buying power and how to complete the purchase of my stock. I would appreciate if the price I attempted to select on that date could be clarified. Currently, the stock has increased by a few more cents ($0.03). If possible, I would like someone to reach out to me. Thank you for your assistance. Many of us are navigating these investments without complete understanding.

My account got restricted because my bank kept reversing the deposits made by the company, so I had to use my personal account as a business account. Robinhood restricted my account from buying. I sold my shares to withdraw the $[redacted] they kept trying to take. Despite sending the money, my account remains restricted. I feel like the company is trying to take advantage of me because I'm a small investor. They are not responding to my emails and I need access to my funds urgently due to health issues. I now have $[redacted] in completed deposits and need my money quickly. Thank you for your assistance.

Robinhood placed a restriction on my account, requiring a selfie holding my ID and a picture of my social security card. I had to order a new social security card, which delayed my submission. Despite sending the photos, I have not received a response to multiple emails. It seems unfair not to promptly address my verification, especially for an ongoing issue. The restriction was triggered by my stimulus check deposit, labeled as suspicious, despite it being a common transaction for many Americans. Individuals should not have to justify their income sources as long as both parties involved are compliant. This financial hold has caused significant financial strain, leading to late payments and credit repercussions. I have provided ample documentation and urge them to lift the restriction promptly. Additionally, I have experienced unexplained disappearances of funds from my account, which raises concerns about their transparency and treatment of customers. Resolving these issues is essential for me to regain financial stability and consider continuing with this company in the future.

I have an ongoing case with Robinhood (Case ID: [redacted]9). I have been unable to access my account for the past two days. Despite reaching out to Robinhood for assistance, I have not received much help. The issue arises when I attempt to log in to the Robinhood app, prompting a verification code to be sent to my phone number. Regrettably, I have not received this verification code after multiple attempts through both the app and browser. The support team has requested that I verify my identity by uploading images of my government-issued ID through the app, but as I cannot access my account, this is proving to be a challenge. I did upload my Driver's License through a secured link provided by another support representative, but I am yet to receive a response from them.

I believe my Robinhood account has been compromised, leading them to lock it for security reasons. After receiving instructions to reset my password via email, I followed the steps, but I am now unable to get the authentication code required. Despite multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach out for support and having changed my password, I am still unable to access my account. It has been frustrating not being able to confirm the status of my funds. As of May 9th, I am still awaiting a response from Robinhood after providing the requested personal information last Wednesday. The lack of communication from their customer support team is concerning as my money remains inaccessible.

Hello, I have experienced significant financial losses recently due to irregularities in the order placements on Robinhood. I have encountered situations where my sell orders were not executed properly or at the right prices, resulting in losses. This has occurred multiple times, and despite contacting Robinhood and receiving assurances that the matter is being investigated, the issues persist. These actions feel dishonest and have cost me over $20,[redacted], impacting my trust in the platform. I have provided evidence of these occurrences and I am seeking the return of the funds that were improperly handled by Robinhood. Many users are expressing similar concerns on forums, and I, as a dedicated customer who regularly deposits substantial amounts into the platform, urge for a prompt resolution to this matter.

I am a Aphria stockholder involved in the recent Tilray merger. Following the merger on 3 May, my Average cost remains at $0.00, raising concerns about potential tax implications upon selling Tilray stocks. The displayed Total Return and Market Value being equal might lead to a [redacted]% profit appearance, requiring me to pay taxes on the entire sale amount. Furthermore, uncertainties about the effective date of the shares post-merger may impact Short vs. Long Term capital gains. I seek clarity to avoid overpayment of taxes when selling my stocks and to determine the correct dates for tax purposes. Your assistance in addressing these issues is greatly appreciated. Hello, I am Kevin Lee. On the afternoon of 4/22/[redacted], I noticed suspicious activity on my account. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, I have only reached voicemail. Unfortunately, my account was hacked, and I received an email indicating unauthorized access from San Francisco resulting in a loss of funds. None of the April transactions were authorized by me. Case ID: [redacted]5 remains unresolved, and I have not received my funds or stocks back. I have changed all relevant passwords and provided necessary documentation, including a government-issued ID. I am eagerly awaiting an update on this matter. Please investigate and contact me promptly.

For the past 8 days, I have been dealing with an issue on Robinhood without much response. Yesterday, on the 7th day, I received a reply that seemed like they hadn't fully understood my concerns. My account has been restricted inexplicably for 8 days now, even though I have buying power available. I made a transfer on April 22, which was debited from my account on April 27, and I also sent funds from another account, which Robinhood acknowledged. Despite this, the transfer is still pending. The lack of assistance has caused me to lose thousands in potential gains. I've been eagerly waiting for this moment, and it's disheartening to have it disrupted. The support I've received has been inadequate, and it has left me feeling incredibly discouraged. I have requested some acknowledgment from Robinhood, but unfortunately, it hasn't been forthcoming. -Rolland S. from Bakersfield, CA.

I initially opened my Robinhood account in [redacted], but only started actively using it in late April [redacted]. As a newcomer to investing in stocks, I recently put some money into my Robinhood account and received some returns. However, I've encountered an issue where I cannot transfer my funds back to my bank account as my account is restricted. Despite reaching out to Robinhood's support team multiple times, I have not received a response. I am eager to resolve this problem as I have over [redacted] USD in my account that I am unable to access due to this restriction.

I am having trouble completing my account setup on Robinhood. I received an email stating there was an issue with my social security number and was asked to submit a picture of my card. I have had the same social security number for 58 years but can't find my card. I ordered a replacement online using my driver's license, but it will take 2 weeks to arrive. Due to Covid restrictions, I can't visit the Social Security office. Frustrated that I used my license to get a card, but now can't use it to verify my identity. I offered to send a copy of my passport, but it seems that won't suffice either. I'm eager to invest in crypto, and time is crucial. Please reach out to assist me promptly. Thank you, C.M.B. I have recently opened a Robinhood account and transferred $1,[redacted]. However, I have decided to deactivate my account and transfer the $1,[redacted] back to my checking account. Robinhood has put a hold on my account due to an issue with accepting my driver's license, which might be because the address on my license is different from the one on their website. They requested a photo of my passport, but my submission may not have been correct according to their guidelines. I find their website confusing, as I am not very tech-savvy. I believe resolving this issue should be straightforward if I could speak to someone specific at Robinhood. This situation stemmed from my attempt to purchase etherium, which was rejected because the website indicated that Pennsylvania does not allow it, where I reside. Thank you for your assistance.

On April 22nd, I initiated a $[redacted] transfer from my Chime account to Robinhood, which promptly advanced me $[redacted]. However, on April 27th, my account on Robinhood was restricted without explanation. I contacted Chime, verified the funds, and tried to reinitiate the transfer to no avail. Subsequently, I sent a deposit of around $[redacted] from Bank of America to Robinhood, hoping to rectify the situation. Despite selling assets to cover the deposit, the issue persisted. Numerous messages to Robinhood support yielded no resolution. Eventually, Robinhood withdrew $[redacted] from Chime without my knowledge. Confused by conflicting transfer statuses in my history, I persistently sought assistance but received inadequate responses. Robinhood support claimed I owed for two transfers of $[redacted] each and threatened to sell my positions if I didn't deposit $[redacted] by a deadline. The situation has caused immense distress, affecting my ability to afford essentials like rent and food. Urgently seeking a resolution before facing further financial hardships. Thank you for your attention. - R. S. from Bakersfield, CA

I have been unable to access my account since May 29th. The lack of immediate customer service is frustrating, and when they do respond days later, their explanations seem questionable. Not being able to access my account has caused me to miss out on stock purchases and transferring my savings to a more profitable business. It appears that many others are experiencing similar issues. This situation is unacceptable and inexcusable. I believe we should consider starting a class-action lawsuit to hold them accountable for their actions. Is anyone else interested in joining? - Theresa C.
