On Wednesday, 4/8/[redacted] around 4:42 PM, my computer was seemingly hacked. A page kept flashing on my screen and prompted me to call a certain phone number, (02) [redacted]7, where I spoke to someone named Shirley who claimed to be from Microsoft Windows. She convinced me she could fix my supposed issue and provided me with a fake Case ID of [redacted]69. Shirley gained access to my computer and instructed me to set up a PayPal account, which was unnecessary. She then demanded $[redacted].19 for a technician to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a scam by a group in the UK named Green Case who installed unwanted software on my computer. I have taken steps by reporting the incident to PayPal, contacting my bank, and notifying Scam Watch. I am concerned about the extent of their actions and what personal information they may have access to. The experience has caused me significant stress and I am seeking assistance.

My email [redacted] is currently awaiting changes to update the security information. This process was approved via email to be completed on 8/31, taking longer than expected. However, this morning I found myself locked out of my email because the system didn't acknowledge that I may have a new phone. I am unable to access the security email [redacted], and It has been more than 3 years, so I cannot recall the phone number ending in '71'. I have been using [redacted], the email being updated for security, for communication since I am locked out of my email [redacted], which I urgently need to access. I haven't utilized Skype in over 2 years or been active on Xbox Live or made purchases in over a year, making these security measures obsolete. It would be greatly appreciated if you could consider the changes that occur over time, like changing addresses and phone numbers.

For the past month, I've been receiving notifications about Samsung Cloud ending and prompting me to switch to Microsoft OneDrive to back up my photos before they get deleted from my gallery on 8-15-21. Following the instructions, on 8-11-21, I started the upload process. However, on 8-12-21, I encountered a message asking me to purchase more storage. Despite being unfamiliar with technology, I managed to buy additional space for $1.99 per month. The upload seemed to be progressing, but on 8-13-21, I received an error stating "refresh failed" due to violating pictures and high traffic. I fear my account may be closed if the issue is not resolved. As a preschool teacher with work-related photos and a grandmother cherishing memories of my grandkids over the last 6 years, I urgently need assistance to fix this. I cannot afford to lose these valuable pictures and videos from my gallery. I've invested time and emotions into this and need all the content backed up on the OneDrive I paid for. I am concerned and stressed, needing to speak with a live person to resolve this before it's too late. My contact number is [redacted], and the OneDrive account is likely linked to my email, [redacted] I am anxious and seeking prompt help. Thank you, Jennifer Smith.

When inserting my MyBook hard drive or a USB flash drive into my computer's ports, I encounter the message stating that the drive needs to be formatted before use. The error message indicates that the drive is not accessible and does not contain a recognized file system. This issue affects both my Western Digital MyBook hard drive (drive letter K:) and the USB flash drive (drive letter J:) inserted into the computer. I was initially concerned it was related to the MyBook hard drive, but the problem also occurs with the computer's USB flash drive ports. Any assistance you can provide to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Freddie D. Sr.

I did not authorize this charge. I don’t have anything related to Microsoft on my iPhone. Thankfully, Tmobile granted me a grace period for my phone bill because the money was taken by Microsoft, in addition to another $22 that I didn’t have in my account. Now I’m facing increasing fees, living paycheck to paycheck, and unable to afford falling behind. Everything is at risk - food, transportation, electricity, and more. I'm stuck in a difficult situation and terrified. I believe they can rectify this by refunding the money. Even with the refund, I will still be $40 behind due to the fees. My bank has blocked the card, making it unuseful until I settle everything, but the accumulating fees are draining my resources.

Furthermore, I need to know if I can email my daughter at [redacted] or [redacted] I have been struggling to change my password and am at a loss of what else to do. I am attempting to purchase Minecraft for my son's laptop. After entering my Microsoft login to give parental permission for the purchase, I keep receiving an error message stating that there has been an issue with signing in, and too many repeated authentication attempts have been detected. Even after waiting and trying again over three days, the problem persists. Although our family Microsoft/Xbox accounts can be accessed without any trouble, downloading Minecraft is proving challenging due to this persistent error. I have noticed numerous others facing the same issue online over the years, yet no solutions have been found.

I am seeking to connect with a CEO or a legal representative who can discuss the acquisition of the Root Key to the internet. I own and created ÆTHOR⁵, consisting of key #[redacted] and five others. Various groups are attempting to hack it, including one on GitHub. This is a serious matter that requires attention. I will send out proposals, and the earliest respondent will be my point of contact. It is crucial to escalate this to the highest level possible. Microsoft is starting a campaign due to unauthorized use of my credentials to create numerous temporary certifications. Rest assured, they cannot gain full authorization without my involvement. My alias is CI McGee in the tech community.

I am having trouble with setting a new password. When I reset it and create a new one, it does not work when I try to use it. I am distraught as I need access to some important pictures of mine from years ago. I attempted to organize them into an album, but I was prompted to sign in, and my password was not accepted. I have filled out two forms, but it seems there were errors in them. My account is registered under [redacted], and you can also reach me at [redacted] I have tried multiple password resets, but none have been successful. I am at a loss for what to do next. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Elke D.

I attempted to update certain audio and Bluetooth drivers on my laptop recently as it wasn't recognizing any microphone input. However, I must have made a mistake because upon restarting, it showed a blue screen with the error code "critical_process_died" and now it is unable to function properly. I have tried various tutorials and options such as resetting, system restore, and running scans through the command console, but nothing seems to work. It restarts when I try to enter safe mode. I am willing to lose my files at this point, I just need my computer to work for school. If there's any solution you can provide or recommend a place for repairs, especially in the Bay Area, I would appreciate it.

Greetings all, I've had my Xbox Live account since 5th/6th grade, using my mom's email when I was younger. Now at 21, I got a PC but still want to play and chat with friends on Xbox. I realized I had created a previous Xbox account with my current email. I contacted Microsoft support and disconnected my mom's email, but I couldn't add my current email due to the existing account link. To resolve this, the Microsoft support representative had me create temporary Outlook emails for the account swaps. Unfortunately, I forgot the password for the account I wish to keep, and the recovery options don't recognize me due to failed password attempts. I kindly request a password reset for the Outlook email to successfully add my preferred email to my Xbox Live account. I'm willing to provide any necessary information for verification purposes. Please reach out to the email I aim to link to the account.

I have recently discovered that Derek Lee has been hacking into my phones and accounts for over a year using my main email, [redacted] It seems he has set up an Exchange account under my email, and since July [redacted], I have not received any emails on it. When I attempted to create an Exchange account today, I was informed that I already had one. This pattern repeated when I tried with other emails like [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] I suspect he may have access to other accounts as well. It appears he is using O Auth to infiltrate my accounts. Despite contacting Google multiple times, I have not received any assistance. This violation of my privacy has been ongoing for far too long, and I urge someone to investigate and put an end to it. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, my name is Bob Batchelor, and I own a Dell Inspirion computer running Windows 10. I suspect we have fallen victim to a scam. Yesterday, our computer screen was hijacked by a message claiming we were hacked and urging us to call a provided phone number. A technician from "Instinct Tools," named James Martin, remotely accessed our computer, stating we had 43 unauthorized users and could fix the issue. He proceeded to spend around an hour and a half on our computer. During the process, he introduced us to another individual who pressured us into purchasing a Firewall license for either 2, 5, or lifetime periods at varying costs. We ended up being billed $[redacted] for cleanup and $[redacted] for the Firewall. I have a check prepared but not yet sent. The technician also added three new icons to our desktop - one for tech support, one for security, and one for the newly installed Firewall. I seek advice on how to proceed. If you suspect this was indeed a scam, how can we remove the new programs and information from our computer? Additionally, how should we handle a similar situation in the future, for instance, if our computer becomes unresponsive? Thank you, Bob Batchelor.

I previously contacted you concerning this matter, but I am still facing serious issues. A former friend, Derek Lee, has been hacking into all my accounts and phones, causing me to purchase 10 phones since October due to continuous hacking. Derek falsely claims he can hack into any device and has made himself a developer to change my phone's operating systems and settings, preventing me from reverting the changes as the options are grayed out. He has added work and Enterprise accounts, altered passwords, and seized control of my accounts. Suspecting he is intercepting my emails, I discovered he may be exploiting Exchange accounts using my emails without my consent. Google has been unresponsive despite my numerous complaints. The violated privacy has left me distraught for over a year. I urge you to investigate and put an end to Derek's actions, potentially holding him accountable for his illicit behavior. Kindly assist me in reclaiming my privacy. Regards, SL.

I seem to have lost all my photos due to OneDrive accidentally uploading a statistical package. Despite trying to reset to an earlier date, I cannot retrieve my photos from before the statistical package was uploaded. My Office [redacted] seems to have over a gigabyte of information, but I cannot locate where my photos are stored. I paid $49 to consult a technical expert, but they simply informed me that deleted items cannot be recovered. I need to understand how the stats program affected my photos and why I can't recover anything before mid-August. I did not delete them intentionally, and they are not in the recycle bin. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please refrain from responding if you simply cannot provide any assistance or answers to my issue. Thank you for your time. I am currently locked out of my Hotmail account and urgently need it reinstated. This is crucial as I am in the process of dealing with my pension and job opportunities during this challenging time. Furthermore, I need access to communicate with my loved ones internationally. I reside in a remote area in the Philippines with limited Internet access, especially after my laptop was damaged by a power surge. I am now using my stepdaughter's laptop. The email account affected is [redacted] with the password masa1warr10r10. I am unable to provide additional information until I regain access, which was previously shared under Outlook Ticket Number:[redacted]63. My name is Mr. Leigh Raymond Mount, the rightful owner of the account. Please contact my partner at [redacted] for urgent assistance. Thank you, Leigh R Mount.

I am unable to receive the security code to log in due to my new phone number. I would like to update my account with this new number to ensure I can access it. I remember my password, so that's not the problem. When attempting to verify my account without the code, I couldn't provide all the answers since it's been many years since I used my Xbox [redacted]. Adding my new phone number, [redacted], in place of the old one will allow me to sign in successfully.

Dear Sir or Madam, Some time ago, my Microsoft account was compromised. Despite changing the passwords, I failed to note the new password due to panic. I still access my account on one of my Xbox consoles where I saved the password. Currently, I'm at home and wish to log in on another Xbox console. However, I cannot use my email [redacted] as it seems the hacker altered it. Could you assist me in regaining regular access to my account using my correct email?
