I loaded $[redacted] on my Secure Spend Visa card. I spent $98 at Carrabba's restaurant, and the next morning, when I ordered breakfast from DoorDash, I discovered I only had $10 left. Being on disability and having to feed my two children, this situation was distressing. I had never encountered this issue with GreenDot before. Though this happened a few days ago, I felt foolish for choosing the wrong card. Thinking it might be a scam, I loaded another $[redacted] on a Green Dot Visa card to send money to my daughter in college and ensure it worked. Losing $90 is significant to me. I recently discovered that my tax return was deposited onto my card when I checked after visiting my tax preparer. Unfortunately, I found out that the tax preparer had passed away due to an overdose and may have been involved in scamming people for their tax refunds. Now, I am having trouble accessing my account after filing a dispute as it is showing as disabled.

Dear EIPCard.com Team, I recently moved from Bothell, WA to Woodinville, WA in January [redacted]. It took three weeks for my address to be updated, and during this time, my phone numbers also changed. When attempting to activate my card on your website, I encountered an issue where the system only requested my four-digit passcode, which I had not yet selected. Could you please assist me in reissuing a new card and guiding me through the necessary security steps? My correct address is now in Woodinville. This morning, I filled up my vehicle with $15 worth of gas before heading to work. When I tried to pay for my family's dinner and my wife's medication later, my card was declined due to an extra $75 charge from the gas station. They claim it will take 3 days to refund the money. I was told that the gas station held onto the funds, but I know it's the bank's responsibility, not the gas station's. This has happened before and is very inconvenient. Once I receive my refund, I plan to close my account and take my business elsewhere.

I received multiple text messages on January 15, [redacted], indicating potential issues with my account followed by reassurances. Shortly after, another text notified me of unauthorized money transfers from my account. Despite contacting customer service, I faced difficulties due to their closure. After persistent attempts, accusations were made against me for the transfers. Repeated calls resulted in being disconnected multiple times. In frustration, I visited the Ace Express store for assistance. Even with the store employee’s help, the customer service call ended abruptly. Numerous calls were needed before speaking with someone willing to address my issue. I tried to access my account later, only to find it blocked due to a dispute being filed without prior notification. I was informed of a lengthy 10-day process before any resolution. The lack of SMS alerts allowed the perpetrators to drain my account completely. Despite offering cooperation, the slow progress and inadequate response from the fraud department aggravated the situation. The urgency is heightened as upcoming bills rely on the now empty account, leaving me financially compromised without recourse. I plan to seek legal advice promptly on January 17, [redacted].

My Economic Impact Payment from the IRS for the American Rescue Plan, which was supposed to be deposited on March 17th, was stolen. I had two visas active concurrently, when one should have been invalid. I only became aware of the third round of stimulus on April 2nd when I saw in the records that the funds were sent to an unknown source and transferred via a link to my account without my knowledge. It is documented that I did not link my card to my account. I have been trying to resolve this issue and receive the missing payment as it is evident that I did not receive it. I have contacted customer service but was unsuccessful in resolving the matter. I need assistance to address this federal offense quickly.

I recently learned that Civista Bank mistakenly deposited my tax return into a Meta Bank account with routing number ending in [redacted] and checking account number ending in [redacted]. The amount deposited was $2,[redacted]. I do not have any account with Meta Bank. My name is Rodney Allen, and I have a trace number to track my refund. I am unable to use my Securespend MasterCard due to an issue, and they advised me to contact customer care. Yesterday, I attempted to reach them by phone, but after waiting on hold for 17 hours, no one answered. I tried again last night and today with no success. I understand that the company is located in Georgia and may be affected by storms and tornadoes, but it would be helpful if they could provide a recorded message informing customers of the situation and when they expect to resume operations. I only have $19 available on the card, but the lack of communication is frustrating.

MetaBank has not yet refunded me over $4,[redacted] from 2[redacted]. During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, my ID, Food Stamp card, and MetaBank card were lost and never recovered. Despite providing my personal information like my name, date of birth, birthplace, parents' names, age, and social security number, MetaBank is not cooperating. My disability payments for a year and two stimulus checks were directed to that card, and I couldn't stop it as everything was closed. I'm struggling to get a resolution and I am determined to receive the money owed to me.

Despite sending all the identification I could, my funds remain inaccessible. This ongoing situation has left me without my money for this month, adding unnecessary stress as a social security recipient. I believe someone is trying to steal my identity as I suspect fraudulent activity on my Netspend account linked to card number 4[redacted] 4[redacted]. I've been facing issues with signing into my account due to my All-Access Netspend card being stolen along with my wallet containing my ID and social security card. I wasn't able to provide all the necessary information to Netspend, but now that I have my ID, I can send it to them for verification.

I purchased a Secure Spend prepaid Visa Card from Walmart and have been experiencing numerous issues with it. I tried to pay my bills, and although some went through successfully, payments to Consumer Cellular and Frontier Communications did not process. There is still $[redacted].38 remaining on the card, and I am frustrated with the ongoing problems. I have decided not to shop at Walmart again and will avoid purchasing these cards in the future. I am seeking a prompt refund of the remaining balance on the card. I request a check that I can cash at my bank immediately. Walmart's assistance was not helpful, and the customer service number provided on the card has not connected me to a live representative. This situation has left me very upset, and I am eager for a resolution without further delay.

I have a MasterCard SecureSpend non-reloadable gift card that is brand new but inaccessible. The website indicates that it has been activated with the correct value, but for some reason, it is on hold. I have attempted to contact customer service using the number on the back of the card, but all I am met with is hold music and a never-ending wait. Even at 2:30 AM, the experience remains the same. I tried to locate their office through Google Maps, and it seems to be in a remote area north of Columbus, Georgia. This situation is concerning as I used similar cards without any issues in the past, but this time, it's proving to be difficult and worrisome.

My husband passed away on May 27th. I am attempting to close his account. During my call with a customer service agent, despite trying repeatedly to discuss the account with my husband's details, she only requested my social security number and some security questions. I was confused as the card had both our names on it. I explained that I was unaware of the card's existence and didn't know the security answers. In response, she advised me to call back once I have the security information. This situation is very frustrating for me.

Since last August, I had funds going to a card, which I accidentally threw away. I forgot about the account for a while. $[redacted].00 was also sent there, but I only have the routing and account numbers. Chase told me it's a Meta bank account based on the routing number. I was given a $50 gift card during the pandemic, which is set to expire on 12/27. However, when I recently tried to use it for my daughter's back-to-school clothes, the balance was zero. The company on the card has closed, and after some research, I was informed that the funds were lost due to inactivity. Visa directed me to Meta for further assistance. I find it distressing as a gift recipient that the money disappeared due to lack of use within 12 months, especially since I was unaware of these terms. I would appreciate receiving another $50 gift card to rectify this situation as I was unaware of the expiration conditions since it was a gift. Thank you.

The front of the card states "Funds Do Not Expire," but below that, it indicates it is valid through 03/23. As a senior citizen, I stored the card in case of emergencies due to the "do not expire" statement. When I finally needed to use it, I noticed the "valid thru" date and called the number provided, 1-[redacted], to inquire. They explained the card's rules, but I emphasized that the "do not expire" message was misleading. I believe this could result in the bank retaining funds that rightfully should be available. I am simply requesting the $10.00 initial amount credited back to me, as it holds value for me as a senior dependent on social security. I await your prompt response.
