I left a 3.5 cup food processor for Purolator at Staples in Bowmanville because it wasn't working, as requested. I forgot to check if I included my name and address in the package after sealing it. Katherine H. 8-[redacted] Bowmanville Ave., Bowmanville, ON L1C 4M7 Tracking # [redacted]19 I hope this oversight won't be too problematic. I was grateful for the kind and prompt service from your representatives.

In September [redacted], the interior lights of our KRMF706ESS01 fridge stopped working. A repair technician visited and ordered five new bulbs. After several weeks, only one bulb was replaced in the freezer compartment. The fridge was marketed as having LED bulbs that never needed replacing, which was a key selling point for us. However, today, the lights are out once again, even though our extended warranty ended in March [redacted]. We are puzzled why we are experiencing the same bulb problem we had before. We previously owned an LG fridge for over 18 years without ever needing to replace a bulb. Our decision to upgrade to this KitchenAid model was based on its reputation for reliability. It is frustrating to now face LED bulb issues and incur out-of-pocket expenses for repairs.

Our [redacted] dishwasher is experiencing a known defect with the diverter leaking. Following the technician's assessment, we need to replace both the pump assembly and diverter. We were advised to contact Kitchenaid to inquire about possible compensation due to the issue being part of the Cleveland, ET AL vs Whirlpool class action suit. Although our product number is included in the covered cases, the online form indicates that our serial number is not eligible. The repair costs over $[redacted], and purchasing a new dishwasher amounts to $[redacted] excluding installation. We are looking for assistance regarding this matter. Thank you.

My KitchenAid microwave model KMCS1016 has an issue with the touchpad not working on all buttons. It has power, and I have already checked the flat cable and sprayed all contacts on the front side of the control board with WD40 Contact Cleaner, but it did not fix the problem. I am hesitant to remove the Panel & Touch Pad and Main Control Board myself for fear of making things worse. Unfortunately, parts for this model are unavailable, and I am considering getting a new microwave, although the available models are not in white to match my built-in microwave with a white trim kit. I am wondering if a new stainless steel or black model would fit instead. I would prefer to repair the existing one if possible. Any advice would be appreciated. - Doug

My KitchenAid microwave model KMCS1016 is experiencing issues with the touchpad not responding to all buttons. I have verified that there is power going to the microwave. I have already inspected the flat cable and applied WD40 Contact Cleaner to all contacts on the front side of the control board, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the problem. I am hesitant to remove the Panel & Touch Pad and Main Control Board myself as I am worried about causing further damage. Replacement parts are currently not available. While new microwaves are an option, I prefer to repair the existing one, as it is built into my kitchen with a white trim kit. I am considering replacing it with a stainless steel or black model that should fit. Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. - Doug

After numerous exchanges with KitchenAid via Facebook over two days, and undergoing various steps related to my issue detailed below, I received the following response from KitchenAid: PROBLEM: My $[redacted] microwave stopped working after three years. I renovated my entire kitchen with KitchenAid appliances, expecting top quality. The issue is that the microwave, precisely cut into my cabinet wall, above my KitchenAid oven requires a custom fit, making it challenging to find a replacement that fits. This has been a disappointment, considering the total investment close to $1,[redacted] for a broken microwave. KitchenAid's RESPONSE/SOLUTION: Thank you for sharing this information, Stacy. Repairing a countertop microwave is not cost-effective due to exclusive parts and would likely warrant a replacement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. MY FOLLOW-UP TO KITCHENAID: Despite the response, my concern remains about having to purchase another KitchenAid microwave due to the custom size cut in my wall. I've yet to receive a satisfactory solution or compensation and have reached out to KitchenAid with no response. Regards, Stacy H. [redacted] [redacted] W Rockwood Dr, Peoria, AZ [redacted]

I have been experiencing problems with my counter-depth French door stainless steel refrigerator from day one. The freezer was icing over due to improper sealing, which Kitchenaid repaired during a previous visit. The icemaker has also been faulty, and they provided me with an additional unit. They ordered new doors because of scratches, but the delivery personnel made inappropriate comments about my home. Despite filling out a five-year survey and contacting Kitchenaid, they only offered me a 10% discount on a new fridge, refusing to address my ongoing icemaker and gasket issues. The icemaker continuously freezes over, and the gasket, replaced last year for $[redacted], is torn again. As a realtor, I am dissatisfied with this $[redacted] refrigerator and need the gasket replaced and the icemaker repaired.

I have been experiencing ongoing issues with my counter-depth French door stainless steel refrigerator from day one. The freezer was icing over due to improper sealing, which Kitchenaid addressed by sealing it properly. They also provided an additional unit for the icemaker issue and ordered new doors as the existing ones were scratched. Recently, I filled out a five-year survey and contacted Kitchenaid with my concerns again, but they only offered 10% off on a new refrigerator. The main problem remains with the icemaker, which freezes over, causing ice to get stuck in the tray. Additionally, the gasket I replaced last year for $[redacted] is torn again. As a realtor frequently asked about appliances, I am dissatisfied with this $[redacted] fridge and would like the gasket replaced and the icemaker repaired to resolve these issues.

Our 20-year-old KitchenAid double oven suddenly stopped working while self-cleaning, and now the upper oven door is locked with a dark control panel. Despite attempting to reset it by turning off the circuit breaker for 10 minutes, the issue persists. To replace the oven, we must open both doors, but the locked upper oven is preventing this. Any advice on how to manually unlock the upper oven door would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased a KitchenAid range from BestBuy and it was delivered on 11/17. After installation the following week, I noticed that the oven is not heating and the oven lights won't turn off. I contacted KitchenAid, who arranged for local service. Unfortunately, the initial provider canceled, but Via Services eventually came on 11/8. The technician suggested a part replacement, which is currently on backorder with no estimated arrival. I have guests coming for Thanksgiving next week and am desperate for a resolution before then. The situation is causing stress and inconvenience. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I require assistance regarding a bowl. I was on hold for 25 minutes only to receive rude service from a representative who yawned and chewed loudly, then abruptly hung up after stating I contacted the wrong department. This is not the service I expected after investing heavily in your products and might lead me to choose a different brand in the future. Despite this, I still need a bowl for my mixer, which requires a 5-quart size. I ordered one, but it turned out to be too small. I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted].[redacted].[redacted]. Currently, I am on hold again, having waited for 39 minutes this time. Sincerely, Very disappointed, JC
