I have been dealing with H&R Block for almost a year now to file my [redacted] taxes. Despite promises of callbacks, nobody ever follows through. Now that the deadline has passed, I am stuck with potential fees that I am keen to avoid. I have spent more than 20 hours on the phone in the last three months alone, attempting to get my taxes processed with no success. The IRS has confirmed that my taxes have not been submitted. I am frustrated as I am not getting the assistance I need, only empty promises of callbacks. I am reaching out for help from someone with the authority to ensure my already prepared [redacted] taxes are finally submitted to the IRS, after months of unsuccessful attempts with H&R Block. The tax professional I hired through H&R Block has let me down.

I would like to address my experience at the Hobby Lobby Office located on Rice Road in Lee's Summit. Firstly, I want to commend Jody for her excellent assistance, despite the system causing various issues. My appointment ended up lasting almost two hours due to the system malfunctioning and not allowing me or my tax advisor to apply for a rapid refund emerald card. Additionally, the esign feature was not functioning after multiple attempts via the app, leading me to have to return for paper signing after the lengthy appointment and system failures. Jody went above and beyond, but the recurring system problems are frustrating, requiring me to come back to finalize my taxes. It is disheartening to pay $[redacted] in service fees for a system that is not effectively meeting customer needs. - J. Hotchkin

Troubles with H&R Block Tax Program I encountered issues with the user name and password input. Despite following the instructions, there were persistent errors. When attempting to rectify mistakes like entering the date my wife passed away in [redacted], the system did not align with the necessary information. Furthermore, perplexing prompts such as requesting "In care of" details for a third party when not applicable added to the confusion. After the return was rejected and I received error codes like IND-[redacted]-04/IND-[redacted]-04-0, I reached out to customer service and went through the troubleshooting process, speaking with Akira. Despite efforts, the problems persisted, leading me to seek a refund and cancel both the federal and Georgia state returns in the H&R Block system, which have not been accepted.

On Tuesday, February 7, [redacted], Stephanie Brown Houston at your office filed my taxes. However, she mistakenly used the wrong address on my tax return. Despite me clearly stating that the address on my W2s was temporary and not to be used, she still inputted it. This error may cause me to miss important mail, like my Identity Theft Protection Pin, which I need to receive at the correct address. I have already updated my address on the H&R Block app but it hasn't reflected on my Income Tax Form. I kindly request that you rectify this error at no additional cost as it was not my mistake. I am Stephanie A. Thilges from Loveland, Colorado, aged 65 and on disability. I wish to report an employee named Kayti O. Vogel at the SW 10th H&R Block office in Loveland, Colorado. She is currently under investigation since February 1, [redacted], for identity theft and bank fraud, with multiple charges pending. She was arrested in Longmont, CO on February 10 due to warrants issued on February 9 in Larimer County for Felony Assault and First Degree Burglary, both with 2 counts each, related to a February 7, [redacted] incident. The identity theft and bank fraud allegations are from another incident on February 1, [redacted], in which she obtained bank loans in her daughter Lilly's name. Additionally, her roommate found around 3 lbs. of personal identification and other documents belonging to various individuals, to be handed over to her daughter's lawyer. I felt it necessary to share this information as she has access to many people's personal data daily. I bought HR Block's Deluxe + State version tax software. I have the receipt and a coupon code. After opening the box, I followed the steps in the pamphlet titled "Let's get started." I tried to visit activate.hrblock.com/DRJ as instructed but the website doesn't exist. Instead, I was redirected to activate.hrblock.com/CRJ, where the activation code is not accepted. It seems I'm in the wrong place.

I bought H&R Block's Premium and Business [redacted] on February 9, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the premium part could not be installed. I reached out to customer support on 02/10/[redacted], and despite multiple downloads and efforts to fix it, the service rep couldn't assist me. They said someone would reach out in a few days, but I have not received any contact. I'm unable to start my taxes until this is resolved. Please reply promptly.

I have completed all the forms and am ready to request a refund. However, when I printed the return to review it, I noticed that none of the stock trading transactions that should be on Schedule D are showing up, even though the summary totals are online. I contacted support online, but I have not received a response. I am now considering filing with another software provider as I need a reliable service. I recently had my basic taxes completed at one of your offices. I haven't had to pay taxes for over a decade and only needed a copy of my completed tax return. Despite not filing taxes for the past 10 years, your associate mentioned I needed to file my taxes through your office to obtain a copy, costing $[redacted]. I expressed my surprise at this cost as I had my taxes done independently for years and was charged significantly less for the service. This experience was disappointing, especially as I was not provided with essential paperwork along with my return. I seem to have misplaced my Emerald card, which is supposed to receive an IRS deposit soon. To be safe, I would like to cancel this card and request a new one. Unfortunately, as I haven't had the card for long, I don't know the card number. I have the paperwork from H&R Block with the routing and account numbers, but I'm unsure how to proceed without the card number. I would be grateful if a new card could be sent to my mailing address, even if there is a fee involved. Thank you.

I need assistance in determining which account my tax return was sent to. H&R Block provided me with the routing number but not the account number. I need to trace my [redacted] tax return. The IRS suggested contacting my tax preparer for this information. Since I provided identity verification to receive the routing number, I assumed the account number should also be available. The payment for preparing my taxes should require the account number. The routing number led me to discover it was sent to a NetSpend card, yet I cannot access the account number from them without H&R Block providing it. The IRS indicated there should be no issue with H&R Block furnishing me with the account number for tracing my $1,[redacted] refund from [redacted].

H & R Block prepared my [redacted] taxes, but they overlooked filing schedule SE for the $11,[redacted] I received as other income. The IRS informed me about this issue, and I acknowledge that I owe social security and Medicare tax on this income. This money came from Gallery Furniture as part of an agreement related to a bed purchase contingent on the Astros winning the [redacted] World Series. I am unsure why my tax preparer missed this. What steps should I take to address this situation?

I submitted my taxes on February 3rd. After contacting the preparer two weeks later, I was told they would start working on it and that I would have them within the week. Since then, I have made numerous calls with no response. It is now March 23rd, and I even reached out to our previous preparer for help, but only received an automatic reply directing me to call the office. This lack of communication is concerning, especially with April 15th approaching. My name is Michael C. and this situation is completely unacceptable. I am having trouble logging in as I have forgotten my password. Despite trying the verification methods sent to my phone, I am currently overseas and not receiving any codes. I have attempted other verification options, but I always end up with a code being sent to my unreachable phone. I recently had my taxes prepared at H&R Block on W. Main St. in Norwich, Connecticut, for $[redacted]. However, when I paid with my debit card, the receipt showed a charge by Kenneth Spurr for $[redacted]. Even though H&R Block acknowledged the billing error and promised a refund, it has been three weeks, and I have yet to receive it. The manager hasn't called me back, leaving me concerned that this may involve fraud. I want my rightful refund as promised in their ads with no hidden fees. They shouldn't be charging me under someone else's name and account. The inconvenience even led to having to pay with vouchers due to errors when using my debit card. I hope to resolve this matter promptly.

I am facing a problem with H&R Block in Norwich, Connecticut on W. 8th Street. My bill for tax preparation services was supposed to be $[redacted], but they charged me $[redacted] instead. They kept my taxes for three weeks until I paid the extra amount. After contacting headquarters, they issued a voucher to cover the correct amount. I was assured a refund of the overcharge, and the process began on February 22. However, as of today, March 29, I have yet to receive the reimbursement.

Last year, I faced the same issue where the system claims I own a business that I want to delete. I suspect it's linked to having my dad's full name in mine. Despite trying to delete the business and leaving fields blank, the system still shows I earned around $15k and prompts me to file for it. When I attempt to delete it, I receive a message directing me to another section, which only leads me back to filling out information rather than removing the business as needed.

I recently bought the "Deluxe + State [redacted]" software box from Staples. Inside, there were instructions to visit activate.hrblock.com/DRJ to activate it. Following the steps, I entered the activation code and personal details, but received an error saying the code is not valid for this tax year. This is frustrating because last year I had issues with HR Block software, spending hours trying to resolve problems with the state package. Now, after purchasing at Staples, I'm encountering similar problems. What should I do with the activation code I paid $40 for at Staples?
