I need to address an issue I've encountered at the Congress, AZ store. I have consistently experienced being charged a higher price than what is indicated on the shelf tag. The store has failed to honor the advertised price due to a lack of staff to update the tags promptly. This has resulted in multiple instances of overcharging, leading to my dissatisfaction during checkout. As a resident of a small town, it is inconvenient to have this recurring problem. Many in the neighborhood share my sentiments, leading us to opt for Dollar General despite the longer distance. In addition to pricing discrepancies, there are also shelves of items without price tags. My main concern is the importance of honoring the shelf price as displayed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have frequented the Family Dollar in Hale Center, TX since it opened, but lately, it has been consistently low on essential items. Despite recognizing disruptions in the transportation industry, as a seasoned retail and warehousing professional, I believe there are additional underlying issues affecting the store's inventory. The shelves are often empty, giving the impression of a store in clearance mode. The store lacks cleanliness and appears understaffed with employees congregating at the front. Compared to other nearby stores, the situation at this location is notably worse. With limited shopping options in Hale Center, it's crucial that the regional manager addresses these concerns promptly to prevent customers from seeking alternatives in larger cities. Maintaining a well-stocked and efficiently run store is vital for our community, and I sincerely hope improvements are made to ensure its longevity. Thank you, Rick P.

I purchased a prepaid Verizon cell phone intended for sale at a Walmart in Illinois, but I bought it from a Family Dollar in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The phone cannot be activated due to being flagged as fraud. I paid $[redacted] for a phone that is unusable, and the local store won't exchange it because it was opened. It's unreasonable to expect customers to check for defects without opening the product. I just want a working phone. The lack of concern for customer complaints is disappointing. Customer service hasn't been helpful, and the store staff was rude. I haven't been able to reach any management. The return policy doesn't cover prepaid cell phones. If I don't hear back today, I will contact the Better Business Bureau.

Hello, I need your assistance with an advertised purchase issue. I have visited 3 Family Dollar stores in an attempt to buy the Tide plus Downy product listed on your website. Unfortunately, when I showed the item to your representatives, they treated me disrespectfully, implying that I didn't understand the product. Despite pointing out all the details, they made me feel as though I couldn't communicate effectively. This experience has been frustrating as it not only wasted my time but also the gas I spent driving between stores trying to purchase this essential laundry detergent for my family. I kindly ask for your help in honoring the advertised price. Thank you.

I have only been an associate for two weeks. I have been self-training, and I was told I was doing an impressive job. On Tue, Aug 2nd, my store manager pulled me aside away from the cameras and mentioned that $50 had gone missing from the supervisor's drawer on SAT, Jul 30th. She claimed there was video footage showing me behaving oddly with my hands, which led to her accusing me. After a heated two-hour discussion, she insisted I return the $50 or involve corporate. I was sent home when I refused to pay and requested she contact corporate. Despite my disagreement, my mother offered to pay the $50. I am seeking advice from any Family Dollar associates on how to handle this situation regarding my job and the investigation into improper procedures by management.

I have attempted to contact a live person multiple times without success. I will be sharing my negative experience with this company if I do not receive assistance soon. I am frustrated with the lack of live customer service and the difficulty in reaching a real person. I am only looking to speak with a representative directly. I will wait for a prompt response to my concerns as this has been a challenging and exhausting process. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

I recently visited Family Dollar in Bellflower, and my purchase totaled $7.01. I gave the cashier $20.10 but only received 9 cents back when my change should have been $13.09. I have noticed this cashier on the register only a few times, and I saw once before that they gave incorrect change to another customer. I am a long-time patron of Family Dollar, initially at the Paramount store on Somerset when it first opened, and I have been frequenting the Bellflower store for the past three years, sometimes multiple times a day. I would appreciate it if this issue could be resolved promptly.

I am writing to seek advice on a challenging situation I am facing at Family Dollar store number [redacted] in Lumberton, Mississippi, where I work as an Assistant Store Manager under the supervision of General Manager Katha Fairley. I believe I am experiencing gender discrimination. I have witnessed unfair treatment towards customers based on their appearance by Ms. Fairley, which has led to some customers deciding not to shop at the store. I recently confronted her professionally about this issue, and instead of addressing it, she reacted negatively. When I had a family emergency and needed help, she did not respond to my calls, and when I had to leave work, she instructed me to take time off until we could have a meeting with the District Manager, but that meeting never took place. Since then, she has paid me less than female assistant managers, treated me disrespectfully in front of customers, and unfairly reprimanded me for minor infractions while being lenient with others. I have taken steps to address this by filing a complaint with the EEOC, and I have documented evidence of these incidents. I am seeking assistance to address this hostile work environment and ensure fair treatment at my workplace while avoiding unfair dismissal or resignation. Thank you for your support in this matter.

On 8/6/22 at 15:24, at store [redacted] located at [redacted] E. 152nd St, Cleveland, Ohio [redacted], I had a negative experience. I am an African American female with a dark complexion and long hair. I bought 4 helium balloons but 2 of them flew away immediately as they were not tied securely. Upon informing the manager, she responded rudely and loudly, stating I had to wait in line. As other customers witnessed the incident, an elderly lady even suggested reporting her behavior. This was not the first time she displayed poor customer service. I felt embarrassed and disrespected by her unprofessional attitude. I urge the store to review the surveillance footage to address this issue properly.

I recently visited Family Dollar in Las Vegas and left my rose gold HP laptop in my bag at the store as requested by an employee named Jay. Upon returning to pay for my items, my bag was missing, and the staff denied having it. I urgently need to retrieve my laptop because it contains important schoolwork. I am willing to meet at the store on August 4th, [redacted], at 12:00 p.m. to review security footage. The manager, Miss Trina, is involved, and I hope to resolve this matter promptly. Please contact me via email at [redacted] or by phone at [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

My experience at the store was disappointing due to the lack of customer service. The male cashier seemed disinterested and preoccupied with his phone, not addressing my concerns. Upon checking my receipt, I noticed I was charged for items I did not purchase and double charged for others. The manager I approached was unhelpful and dismissive, making me wait in line for a refund of a small amount, showing little regard for the errors made. The situation escalated with disrespectful behavior and inappropriate language from the manager, which led me to consider taking legal action for discrimination. I am seeking a full refund for all items and the removal of the cashier and managers involved in this incident.

I recently visited the Stanley Virginia store where Monica, the store manager, always provides excellent service. However, during my last visit about two and a half weeks ago, we encountered a cashier named Laura who was extremely unprofessional. She was hiding behind a register, audibly complaining about her job, and seemed disinterested in assisting us. Laura did not greet us, make eye contact, or even thank us during the checkout process. Her behavior was disrespectful, and she even mentioned her aspirations to become the store manager, which was concerning given her lack of customer service skills. In contrast, Monica is always friendly and engaging, making our shopping experience enjoyable. I hope that Laura's behavior is addressed as it does not meet the standards of Family Dollar management.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent purchase I made at store #[redacted], located in Dallas, Texas. I bought a Magma Box TV Antenna at this location. The product remains unopened and undamaged. I attempted to exchange it for a more expensive TV antenna of the same brand, with the intention of paying the price difference of around $6 to $7. However, I was informed by an assistant manager named Lulu, as the manager Diana was on vacation, that the store policy only allows exchanges for the exact same item and does not offer refunds on electronics. This conflicts with the policy stated on the website. I now desire a refund as I ended up purchasing a more expensive antenna that is compatible with my television, unlike the initial one. Drawing from my 21 years of experience in retail, including 17 years in management, I find this policy and the customer service I received unacceptable. Regardless of the neighborhood's economic status, providing excellent customer service should be a standard practice in all retail outlets.

I visited the Family Dollar on Van Born in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, last Saturday around 10 am. I purchased 3 12-packs of soda - 2 Coca-Cola and 1 Dr. Pepper which were on sale for 3 for $12. The cashier was talking while ringing me up, and the manager, Debra Roberts, was extremely loud and rude. When I called about being overcharged $15, the manager insisted I come in to discuss it. Upon arrival, she initially claimed ignorance about any sales, but after pointing out the advertised deal online and the excess stock of soda, she acknowledged the error in charging me. However, she refused to refund me and accused me of only buying one Dr. Pepper when I had bought 2 Coca-Colas, which are produced by the same company. In the end, she rudely kicked me out without resolving the issue. I feel mistreated and disrespected by her behavior. I insist on an apology, her dismissal, and getting my money back. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

My recent visit to the local Family Dollar was overshadowed by poor customer service. On a Sunday night, I arrived at 8:55 without realizing the time, quickly shopped for cereal, and waited in line for 15 minutes while the clerk dealt with another employee. The cashier mentioned my card might not work and hesitated to complete the transaction, citing the machine being down and service cut off after 10:00, yet she served me anyway. Frustrated with the service, I insisted she try my card, and upon its approval, she made a disrespectful remark under her breath, prompting me to leave my purchase and exit the store. The overall experience was disappointing, and I believe the store would benefit from new management to align with company standards. This incident took place at the Family Dollar branch in Marydel, Delaware.

I wish to file a complaint against the manager at the [redacted] Family Dollar store in Fort Worth, Texas [redacted]. Her behavior is unacceptable. She is rude to both customers and employees, showing a disrespectful attitude that impacts everyone. She doesn't adhere to her responsibilities and behaves in a manner that makes it unpleasant for anyone to visit the store. While the hardworking employees are trying their best, she is often seen smoking and not providing proper training. This lack of respect has led many, including myself, to stop visiting the store. After two years of enduring her behavior, it's time for a change. We, as customers, are uniting to have her replaced with a more considerate and respectful manager.

I would like to file a complaint about a supervisor at the Family Dollar store located at [redacted] N 19th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona, store number [redacted]. My husband and I were shopping there and picked up an item from a section labeled as a dollar, but it turned out to be more expensive. The supervisor began using offensive language towards us, refused to provide her name when asked, and behaved rudely, even making inappropriate gestures. I would like appropriate action taken regarding her behavior, as it was unacceptable. I also have the authorization code she used, which is [redacted]. It is important to me that this matter is addressed promptly and that appropriate measures are taken against the supervisor.

The store I frequent is located in Galt, California. I have been a customer there for the past two years, visiting approximately once a month. I have not encountered a designated manager at the store; instead, I have only seen young female employees. The store's environment is consistently disorganized, with items misplaced, merchandise boxes cluttering the aisles, and many products lacking price tags. During my recent visit, there was only one cashier at the front, while other staff members were heard giggling and talking loudly in the back, creating a distracting atmosphere. Numerous shelves were empty, and I observed expired food items on the shelves. Additionally, I witnessed a homeless individual hiding food in his jacket, despite the high 90-degree temperature outside. The overall condition of the store and its management are unacceptable, leading me to decide not to return in the future.

I am a longtime customer of Family Dollar in Hale Center and have noticed a decline in the store over the past year. Previously, the store was clean, well-stocked, and had friendly staff. Drawing from my 15 years of managing grocery stores and 20 years as an Operations Manager at a Walmart Distribution center, I have a good understanding of retail operations. Recently, shelves have been poorly stocked, the store is disorganized, and the employees seem unmotivated. I raised concerns about outdated prices on items, and the staff's response was lackluster. It's frustrating for customers like me, especially those on fixed incomes, to be surprised by inflated prices. Despite attributing issues to Covid, nearby stores in Plainview have managed to maintain inventory. Consistently encountering these problems makes me question the management's commitment to the store's upkeep. If improvements are not made soon, customer dissatisfaction may lead to reduced patronage. As a disabled individual who finds convenience in shopping there, it's disheartening to consider avoiding the store due to its current state. Store #[redacted] in Hale Center, TX, needs urgent attention before it drives away loyal customers.

I purchased laundry detergent, three-in-one Gain, Gain dryer sheets, and other items, but when I arrived home, they were missing from my bag. After contacting the store, the staff was unhelpful and mentioned items I did not purchase. Today, when I visited the store to explain the situation, an unhelpful lady named Ravonda rudely claimed I hadn't bought the dog food, which I didn't purchase; it was cat food. I would appreciate a prompt callback regarding this matter.
