My spouse and I are preparing for a journey to visit my relatives in Taiwan, a major event for us as we haven't seen them since [redacted]. We've been looking forward to this trip, saving up our current and [redacted] PTO to make it possible. Here's why this trip is so special to us: - It will be my husband's first visit to Taiwan, and I'm excited to be his guide. - I'll have the chance to reunite with 90% of my family members, particularly my grandmother, aunts, and uncles, with whom I want to spend quality time. - Introducing my husband to my family is significant as they couldn't attend our COVID wedding. - Given the uncertain political situation, I want my husband to experience the beauty and culture of the island where I was born. We booked our March [redacted] flights in October, and I began researching lodging options on Booking.com and Agoda from October to November. Wanting to plan ahead, I suggested we secure accommodations quickly, but due to my husband feeling unwell, I took charge of shortlisting options. Unfortunately, I made a mistake booking two non-refundable accommodations in the same city on Agoda. As we tried to cancel the reservations, we realized our error. Although I haven't found a way to contact Agoda about this specific issue, I hope they understand the situation, considering our early cancellation attempts.

Hello, I am Tianchen Chen, and I recently booked a hotel room at Hotel Italia in Siena for a month, starting on December 1st. I clicked on the button impulsively, thinking the price was in RMB. Although it clearly states it's non-refundable, this reservation represents a significant portion of my savings. I kindly ask for your help in this matter, as this money is essential to me. I have a reservation with Agoda at Griya Santrian resort in Bali, Indonesia. Unfortunately, the booking contains the wrong dates and an incorrect email address. Arriving at the property recently, I was kept waiting at the door as I hadn't received the check-in email or any information like the Wi-Fi passcode. When I rang the doorbell, the property manager insisted that they had sent me a confirmation email, even though I hadn't received it. She wouldn't let me in until I confirmed my details multiple times. After some back and forth, she realized my booking was through Expedia, not Agoda. Despite my polite inquiries, I was met with reluctance to assist and was disappointed by the staff's service and attitude.

I was recently charged over HK$[redacted]+ a night by Agoda for a hotel in Kyoto that typically costs around HK$[redacted]-[redacted] a night. The prices before and after my stay confirm this discrepancy. When I inquired about a refund for the difference, Agoda declined, citing fluctuating prices. Interestingly, the hotel informed me that my reservation was made through Lotte instead of Agoda, who apparently booked two rooms under my name, although I only used one. The hotel provided written confirmation of this. It seems Agoda's partnership with Lotte in Japan may have caused the pricing issue. Regardless of the reason, I urge Agoda to uphold their BEST PRICE GUARANTEE and rectify this situation promptly. The hotel in question is Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto-Shijokarasuma located at [redacted], Omandokoro-cho, Karasuma-dori Bukko-ji Sagaru, Shimogyo-ku, [redacted] Kyoto. My stay was from Nov 19 to 24, totaling 5 nights. My Booking ID is [redacted]48 and Reference ID is [redacted][redacted]69.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Kyoto booked through Agoda and was shocked to find out that I was charged more than three times the regular rate. The hotel typically costs HK$[redacted]-[redacted] per night, but Agoda charged me over HK$[redacted] per night. When I inquired about the price difference, Agoda claimed that prices fluctuate and refused to refund me. Upon arrival, the hotel mentioned that my reservation was made through Lotte, not Agoda, even though I received the booking confirmation from Agoda. Additionally, the hotel stated that Lotte had reserved two rooms under my name, although I only stayed in one room, which was confirmed by a written letter from the hotel. It seems there was a mistake in the booking process between Agoda and Lotte, resulting in the overcharge. I am disappointed that Agoda did not honor their "best price guaranteed" claim and are not willing to refund me the difference of over HKD6500.

I recently stayed at Istanbul Hotel Turkoman from November 21st to 25th using Agoda reservation number [redacted]83 under the name Orlando Baiocchetti. During my stay, I encountered several issues with the hotel. The hotel lacks an elevator and has its breakfast area on the top floor. I was given a dirty room (1B) in the basement with a dilapidated toilet. The room had no TV, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and there was no coffee, tea, or drinking water as advertised in the booking confirmation and hotel room photos. When I complained at the reception, I was told that the room was "standard" and did not include any amenities. Despite the hotel being nearly empty, they did not offer to move me to a better floor. I have expressed my concerns to the manager but have not received a response. It appears that guests booking through online agencies like Agoda are mistreated. I made a booking at Kokotel Phuket for 1 Double Room (RM708.60), 1 Double Room (RM708.12), and 1 Twin Room (RM708.12 each) from 24 Jan to 27 Jan. I paid with my CITIBANK Visa card but haven't received a confirmation. Can you verify if my booking is confirmed? The cancellation policy states free cancellation before January 20, [redacted], 23:59 hrs (UTC +7). Cancellations within 3 days will incur a charge for the whole stay, and not showing up will result in a [redacted]% charge.

I made a booking for a property in BGC yesterday. I sent an email and a message to the owner regarding the check-in details and exact location. The property emailed me around 11 pm last night asking for the names of my companions, to which I promptly responded. Today, I received an email requesting a PCR test, but we only have our COVID vaccine cards and certificates. I've been waiting for 4 hours to hear if we can stay at the property or not. It would be helpful to receive a heads-up so we can consider cancelling our booking for a refund. The customer service team has not responded to my queries regarding this issue. I appreciate any guidance on what steps to take next.

The information displayed on Agoda states that our guesthouse is full, which is inaccurate. Agoda informed me that the booking was canceled due to an issue with Paypal. My booking number, [redacted], does not appear in my account. However, in my Paypal account, I can verify that I made the payment to Agoda. The Steigenberger Hotel in Köln has confirmed a room is still reserved under my name, Tania Block. I am unsure what the problem may be. Should I proceed to rebook the room? Agoda still has the funds from the initial reservation.

I did not receive a booking confirmation for a reservation on 22.11 - 25.11.22 at Hotel Abora Continental in Gran Canaria. Even after my credit card was charged €[redacted].00, I couldn't see the booking on my Agoda account. I believe there was a system error, and I have already contacted the hotel. I kindly request a gesture of goodwill in the form of a voucher for 2 nights at the same hotel on a different date. As a loyal customer, I would truly appreciate this. Recently, I stayed at the Seda Vertis North Hotel Quezon City through a booking with Agoda under my name, Pak Meng Wong, from Nov 11 to 15. To my surprise, I discovered duplicate charges on my credit card statement. One charge was for RM1693.53 and the other for RM3387.05. Hi, I just made a booking on Agoda 5 minutes ago with booking reference number [redacted]. It's for a 4-night stay in a standard double room at IBIS Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong from January 1st to January 5th, [redacted]. Unfortunately, we made a mistake and meant to book IBIS Style Ambassador for the same dates. Agoda doesn't allow cancellations even within 5 minutes. I made a booking via Agoda.com for the beginning of October at a hotel in Sevilla. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong date, but I cancelled the reservation immediately, about 10 minutes after booking. The hotel confirmed by email that they processed the refund, but I have not received it yet. After several calls, they mentioned that Booking.com issued the refund, but due to technical issues, it will take 4-5 more days to receive it. When we contacted the hotel again, they directed us to get in touch with Agoda.com. We are feeling desperate and frustrated at this point. Can anyone offer any assistance? Thank you. - Andrea

Hello, I am disappointed with the room allocation at the hotel. I paid for a Premier Suite Double but was given a basic double room instead. The hotel management claims this is what was booked through your site, but I am certain that I requested and paid for a higher room category. This has affected my holiday experience negatively. I had the option to book a twin room at the Hilton for $[redacted], which would have given me the luxury of extra space.
