Hello, I traveled with my wife on flight AA8044 from Dublin to Heathrow on July 2, [redacted], with booking number ZVWJSBP. The flight was delayed due to awaiting a new crew, causing us to miss our connecting flight to Vancouver BC Canada. Despite no available flights until noon the next day, we did not receive any vouchers for accommodation or meals. We had to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn near the airport for [redacted] pounds. We are seeking compensation for the hotel expenses, the 20-hour delay, and the disruption to our travel back to Vancouver. Thank you, E. and S. Bulpitt.

Hello, On Wednesday, May 24th, [redacted], my husband and I were at the boarding gate at Lyon for the 11:10 am flight to Dublin. Unfortunately, my husband realized he had misplaced his ID card and was unable to board the flight. Despite searching and reporting it to the police office upstairs, we were unable to find his ID, and no one was able to assist us. As a result, he had to stay in France. We kindly request a refund for the round-trip ticket we purchased since he couldn't travel. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Best regards, Mme BOUTTÉ - Booking ref: 2RQG3B

I made a booking via Love Holidays and received the order reference number. However, I realized that I entered the wrong email address. As a result, I am unable to view the booking or receive confirmation. I am struggling to correct the email information and when I call customer service, a bot directs me and doesn't recognize the booking reference. My payment has been processed, and I am unsure how to proceed. I appreciate any assistance you can offer.

During my flight from Orlando to Glasgow on Sunday, May 21st, I had an accident. In seat 20C, I struggled to get back into my seat after a visit to the bathroom due to the passenger in front reclining his chair. This caused me to twist my knee. Upon landing, my knee was very sore and stiff. As I descended the stairs, my knee gave out, and I fell, further injuring my knee and shoulder. Paramedics cleared me to fly to Glasgow, where I learned I had ligament damage in my left knee, now requiring a brace and cane. While Aer Lingus couldn't change my seat on my Glasgow to Dublin flight, they did change it for my Dublin to Orlando flight. I'm concerned about seat mobility due to my knee and hope to avoid twisting it again. I wanted to express my gratitude to the staff and paramedics in Dublin for their assistance. Thank you for your attention. Jessie C.

Hello, In October last year, my wife and I planned a trip to Dublin with another couple for St. Patrick's Day [redacted]. Our friends arranged the accommodation, and we took care of booking the flights from Bordeaux to Dublin and back. We made a reservation for four seats on a flight through Go Prime and added the "Cancel for any reason" insurance. Unfortunately, due to my mother's passing on March 7 (just ten days before the trip), we had to cancel to handle the funeral arrangements and support my 90-year-old father. Our friends went to Ireland without us. Surprisingly, we found out that the cancellation insurance only applied if all travelers canceled together, and Go Prime couldn't split the reservation. My wife and I, unable to fly, are requesting assistance from your company in this exceptional situation. We appreciate your prompt attention. Best regards, Patrick and Maryline KOCHER Flight details: Outbound: BOD to DUB on flight EI507 departing at 15:35 arriving at 16:35 on March 16 Return: DUB to BOD on flight EI506 departing at 11:50 arriving at 14:55 on March 20 Originally planned passengers: - Patrick KOCHER - Maryline KOCHER - Jean Paul REGALADE - Martine PORTIER

I waited for 50 minutes to reach Aer Lingus customer service to make a booking. When I finally connected, the representative, seemingly not in Ireland, was unhelpful and hurried, suggesting I book online due to higher prices via phone. This experience was disappointing, especially when supporting Irish businesses like Aer Lingus is essential.

During our trip to Europe with my elderly mother and wheelchair-bound sister, who has cerebral palsy, we experienced a significant delay with Aer Lingus on our way back to Los Angeles. The connecting flight to Los Angeles was missed due to technical issues, resulting in us being denied the right to a hotel stay for the night. Despite explaining our situation to the customer service representative, we were met with rudeness and bullying. The representative refused to assist us and insisted we pay for our own accommodations. Even when we mentioned our inability to cover the costs, we were humiliated and told it was not their concern. The lack of compassion and assistance left us sitting on the airport floor for over 20 hours with no support. The treatment we received was degrading and unjust, highlighting the disregard for customers in need of help. This experience was incredibly disheartening, especially considering the circumstances with my handicapped sister and elderly mother.

Hello, I am writing to request my reservation number as I forgot to save it and lost my email confirmation. I made a booking on June 7, [redacted], for two passengers (E. Verbeeck and F. Dhondt) from Brussels to Dublin departing on Saturday, September 16, [redacted], and returning from Dublin to Brussels on Wednesday, September 27, [redacted]. Despite contacting the service in Dublin twice, I have not received a response. I have been a loyal customer of your company for approximately 40 years and would appreciate it if you could assist me with this matter. Looking forward to your prompt reply. Yours sincerely

I flew from Toronto on Flight 2KGHYJ to Edinburgh via Dublin. Due to a 15-minute delay, I missed my connecting flight, and Aer Lingus rerouted me to Flight EI [redacted] to Edinburgh. Unfortunately, upon arrival, my blue suitcase with a red strap marked MFC in permanent marker went missing. The staff in Toronto had advised me that the luggage would be transferred, but it did not reach Edinburgh. The bag had a tag indicating the flights YYZ/DUB EI [redacted] on July 4th and DUB/EDI EI [redacted] on July 5th and contained various identifiers such as [redacted]-2KGHYJ, COMISKEY MICHAE, OO1 PCS PL / 02, and EI [redacted]. I had the unfortunate experience of Aer Lingus "misplacing" my golf bag during a flight from Edinburgh to Dublin on July 3, before flying to Boston the next day. Despite multiple attempts, including using the reference number provided by Aer Lingus and completing their "72-hour claim" form, there has been no progress in locating my bag. Flight #: EI [redacted]. My aim is to have my bag returned to Boston promptly and to communicate with staff at either the Edinburgh or Dublin airports directly for a more personalized resolution.

Hello, I regret to inform you that I had to cancel our flight to Ireland due to my husband's slow recovery from cancer. While I did receive a voucher for the flights, unfortunately, I did not receive compensation for the extra legroom seating I had paid for. The original booking number is 2484AW. The voucher amount received was $[redacted].76, leaving a discrepancy of $[redacted].96 based on the total payment of $[redacted].72 for the two flights. I was under the impression that the refund would cover the seats as well. I have been waiting on hold for over an hour to speak with a representative. Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Daralyn S.

I have been trying to get seat assignments for my wife and myself with Aer Lingus. We usually fly First or Business Class, but I now understand that Aer Lingus does not offer this service and has new guidelines we need to follow. I provided them with our booking reference number from British Airways but have not been able to resolve this issue. I also have other questions regarding carry-on luggage and am willing to pay additional fees if necessary. Please contact me at [redacted] in the USA. I acknowledge that Aer Lingus has changed since I last flew with them and am willing to comply with their current guidelines, but I need someone who can assist me in understanding and answering my questions. My booking reference number through BA is: O4HNMK. Thank you. Harper Paul Williams Email: [redacted] Phone: [USA] [redacted]

We recently traveled with AerLingus from Chicago O'Hare to Budapest, Hungary with a connection in Dublin. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed causing a tight connection, especially with my mother in a wheelchair. Upon arrival in Budapest, all five of our bags were missing, leading to a frustrating 72-hour ordeal of contacting Menzies and repeatedly going back to the airport. We had to buy essentials while waiting for our bags, with the final bag arriving on our last day in Budapest. Our other concern was the condition of the aircraft from Chicago to Dublin. Out of the seven family members flying together, two TV monitors were not functional throughout the flight. The plane was old, lacking a touch screen, with a broken remote control. As a result, two adults had to give up their seats to children to watch TV as there was no wifi for personal devices. We were disappointed with AerLingus' service and would appreciate compensation for the luggage and TV monitor issues.
